It’s National Nutrition Month!!

March is National Nutrition Month everyone!!! Take your nutrition to the max this month! Use this month as a fresh start! What are some goals you want to accomplish this month to help you become a healthier individual? 

To help you on your way to eating better this year’s theme is “Eating Right with Color.” The idea is that if a person starts to focus on eating a variety of colors then that will reinforce the decision for anyone to make room on their plates for not only vegetables and fruits, but whole grains, leaner proteins and dairy. Keep this theme in mind for when you go to the dining halls for breakfast, lunch and dinner! If you do your grocery shopping you’ve hit a gold mine of colors in the produce section (or frozen fruits/vegetables). Choosing to go out for the evening? Use this theme to pick the better option for a healthy dish at your favorite restaurant!
